The first link that I chose for this Relevant Link Page for Art Education is Kinderart. Kinderart provides many useful resources for educators involving art such as, lesson plans by age, lesson plans by meduim, and there is even a place to shop for materials if you would like! If art lesson plans are "your thing," you can submit and share your plan with other teachers on Kinderart. My second link is Teachkidsart. On Teachkidsart, there is a column to the right on the homepage that provides endless lesson plans about famous artist inspiration, holiday, subject, and so many more! Teachkidsart also has its own links page with countless other art lesson resources, if nothing catches your eye on their site - super helpful! Redtedart was the next link that I found while searching. The special thing about Redtedart is that there is a How To's page that provides many DIY projects for you and your students to attempt! There are also videos on Redtedart which can be helpful for students! The next link that I found is Artinaction, which is pretty neat and I'll tell you why. Artinaction is an organization that helps make art education possible in some school systems - here's their statement, "We currently make an arts education accessible to 200 schools, 2500 teachers & parents, and 50,000 students. But there are still 4 million students without access to a visual arts program. Join us in our mission to bring art to students everywhere!" Artinaction not only funds some arts programs at school, but they also have K-8 lesson plans assessible on their website! Khanacademy is one of the most intersting links that i found. If you are wanting to do an art history lesson, this is the site! Khanacademy not only offers resources about art, but also any other subject that you could imagine! Instrucatbles is another link that I found in my search. I found that on Instructables there are not really any lesson plan, more crafts. I believ the crafts could be helpful for a teacher to create his/her own lesson plan in conjuction with the craft. The next link is Artprojectsforkids, which also has tons of great features! Artprojectsforkids has a gallery that you could show students to evoke thought on the type of art they would like to make or be interesed in. There is also a Daily Blog feature with great ideas for the classroom. Artforsmallhands is the eighth link that I came across for this project. The thing that I like best about Artforsmallhands is on the homepage to the right has instructions on the foundational principles of teaching children art - I'll let you guys check out the rules/instructions! My favorite thing about Katiemorrisart is her "My Teaching Philosophy" section on the webpage - it's worth checking out for teacher who may be trying to incoroprate are into a lesson. Last, but not least, Deepspacesparkle -which is my personal favorite. There are so many resources on Deepspacesparkle inclusing but not limitied to an art library, shop, and videos and ecourses! Surely you can find an interesting lesson or way to combat an art problem on Deeepspacesparkle.
