Life, Paint and Passion.

"The tools to paint are already within you, they need only a simplification, a clearing of the ground, to manifest." I love this quote, because I believe that it is a very descriptive of art education. However, the quote is describes general education as well. If you have not noticed from my first blog, I will genereally like art education and general education for a better understanding of how the two are related. As the tools to paint are already within you, the ability to learn as much as possible in general cirrculum is within you as well. You may struggle with different paint strokes or geometrical math problems, but with effort, a clear-open mind, and some guidance - you can achieve it! As educators, we need to push students beyonds their limits to make them realize that educational possibilites are endless, art or general.
